Due to the Memorial Day Holiday, the Transfer Station will be closed on Monday, May 29, 2023 & Tuesday, May 30, 2023.

Transfer Station Extended Hours on Wednesday, May 31, 2023: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Starting on June 25, 2022, the Saturday hours of operation at the Transfer Station will be 6:30am to 3:00pm.

Trash Bags Available for Roadside Trash Pick-Up: If you are part of the volunteer community roadside clean-up efforts, the Town will supply trash bags. They can be obtained at the Transfer Station, outside of the municipal solid waste building. We will also attempt to pick up the bags if you make prior arrangements with our team by emailing us at publicworks@bedfordnh.org in advance of your clean up event. Bags can also be disposed of by yourself at the Transfer Station.

FOR RESIDENTS ONLY - MUST HAVE VALID TRANSFER STATION STICKER

The 2021 green stickers are still valid and available at the Transfer Station during the normal hours of operation. The blue 2020 stickers are still valid and accepted. Please see one of the attendants for your Transfer Station Sticker.

Sticker Requirements
Residents are allowed 2 stickers per household and you must have that vehicle when obtaining the sticker. Driver’s license and vehicle registration (with proof of Bedford residency) is required to obtain a transfer station sticker. NO COMMERCIAL VEHICLES.

Proof of Address
New residents may bring closing papers, utility bill or any document reflecting your new address.

Wednesday - 8:30am - 5:00pm 
Thursday - 8:30am - 7:00pm  
Friday - 8:30am - 5:00pm
Saturday - 6:30am - 3:00pm

Disposal is limited to household bagged trash for 15 minutes prior to closing each day.
