Filing Period

The filing period for all offices for Town and School Government is January 20 through 5PM - January 29, 2021

Open Town Elected Positions

  • Town Council 3 seats (3-year term)
  • Library Trustee 2 seats (1 3-year term, 1 2-year term)
  • Trustee of the Trust Funds 1 seat (3-year term)
  • Supervisors of the Checklist 1 seat (1 5-year term)

Open School District Positions

  • School Board 2 seats (3-year term)

How to File

Any Bedford registered voter wishing to file for Office must do so by contacting the Town Clerk at 603-472-3550. The Clerk will be available during office hours at the Town Office Building and until 5 p.m. on the last day of filing. As per RSA 669:19 candidates who file on the last day of the filing period shall do so in person before the Town Clerk.
