Greetings and welcome to the Bedford, New Hampshire Police Department’s website and portal to information and services.  We are pleased to offer you a wide array of public safety and law enforcement related information and services through our website and hope you enjoy your visit.

As you explore our website, I invite you to review the Department’s mission statement, which clearly articulates in greater detail the goals and objectives of this fine agency.  In addition to our mission statement, I recommend you also review our Community Policing section, where you will find additional information regarding our efforts to partner with every segment of our great community for if we are to be successful in this Department’s mission, we must engage and collaborate in a transparent dialog with our citizens.  Our community policing programs offer a wide variety of information and services to our residents of all ages and interests; all working together to made Bedford the best community in New Hampshire to live, work and play.

The women and men of Bedford Police Department (BPD), sworn and civilian alike have dedicated their professional careers to serve our residents and to provide the best public safety services for every tax dollar.  As Bedford continues to grow and change, as every community does, this Department must continue to evolve to be prepared to meet the challenges of today and tomorrow.  

We are extremely proud to be able to protect and serve our citizens as well as those who work in Bedford or are just visiting or transiting our community.  As we strive each and every day to provide the highest quality public safety services, our members and employees are instilled with BPD values, Bravery - Professionalism - Dedication, which remind us all that we are public servants first and hold this responsibility to protect and serve as a privilege of trust and honor.
