BeBOLD SPONSORS “BEDFORD GOES RED” FOR RED RIBBON WEEK
OCTOBER 23rd-31st
Bedford, NH. (October 17, 2017): Calling ALL members of the Bedford Community! Join us as “Bedford Goes Red” and stand up against substance abuse. “Bedford Goes Red” is a local, community effort sponsored by BeBOLD to support Red Ribbon Week.
Red Ribbon Week is a national drug prevention initiative held during the week of October 23rd – 31st. This year’s Red Ribbon Week campaign, “Your Future is Key so Stay Drug-free”, aligns with BeBOLD’s drug awareness and prevention mission in our community.
To support Red Ribbon Week and “Bedford Goes Red”, BeBOLD is asking local Bedford businesses and all Bedford community members to “Go Red” by displaying red lights and/or red ribbons on your home or place of business during the week of October 23rd-31st.
- As a business owner, how can I show my support? All businesses are being asked to change their building lighting, such as uplights and lampposts, to red lighting. Display red ribbons where possible.
- As a homeowner, how can I show my support? Change your uplights, lampposts, and front door lights to red bulbs or wrap red string lights where possible. Display Red bows where possible.
- Where can I get red lights? Lowes, located at 222 S. River Road in Bedford, has graciously donated red lights of all kinds. Visit Lowes to get yours FREE, while supplies last!
- Where can I get ribbons? Eastern Bank, located at 1 Atwood Lane in Bedford, has graciously donated red ribbons. Ribbons will be available the week of October 23rd. Get yours FREE, while supplies last!
Let’s ALL support our community and show we care about substance abuse prevention!
