We are planning to do PRE-PROCESSING of absentee ballots as approved recently by HB-1266 tentatively on Monday, Sept 7th (site and time to be determined. We need to give 48 hours notice. This will be the opening of the OUTER envelope and highlighting of voters names on the checklist. The envelopes with ballots enclosed will not be opened until after 8:00 at the polls. "Challenges" can only be made during the pre-processing which is open to the public.

 We need volunteers to assist in this process. Registered Bedford voters who wish to help with the official processing should contact the moderator, Bill Klein via email : bklein52@comcast.net.
