Bedford, NH. (October 18, 2016): BeBOLD (Bedford Building Our Lives Drug-free) is pleased to announce its October Speaker Series event to be held on Monday, October 24th from 7-8pm at the Bedford Library in the McAllaster room. This event is open to the community.

This month, Dr. Dan Rosenbaum, a primary care physician at Elliott Family Medicine at Bedford Commons and a Bedford resident, will hold an open discussion on what he sees as a physician regarding heroin and prescription drug abuse and how this relates to our youth. Questions and open dialogue are encouraged.

BeBOLD’s monthly Speaker Series program is open to the public on the 4th Monday of each month from 7-8pm at the Bedford Library.

Bedford Police Chief John Bryfonski, VP of BeBOLD, kicked off BeBOLD’s first Speaker Series event in September and discussed what has been happening on the substance abuse front in Bedford.

BeBOLD is a drug awareness, education and prevention coalition in Bedford, NH. The coalition includes parent and youth volunteers as well as local police, school and community professionals who care about our community. BeBOLD’s mission is to prevent substance abuse in the Bedford community by educating Bedford’s adults and youth about the current dangers of all kinds of substance abuse, including alcohol, illegal drugs, prescription drugs and tobacco.
