Bedford Police Department would like to inform you that BeBOLD (Bedford Building Our Lives Drug-free) is pleased to announce its November Speaker Series event to be held on Monday, November 28th from 7-8pm at the Bedford Library in the McAllaster room. This event is open to the public.
The hour-long presentation will include a free screening of “OUT OF REACH”, a documentary created by teens regarding the opioid addiction epidemic, followed by an open discussion with Chief John Bryfonski; Bedford Police Department; Greg Girard; Pharmacist & Bedford PTG President, Dr. Kevin Rankins; Elliot ER and Jon DeLena; Special Agent in Charge, DEA.
“Based on the Bedford Youth Risk Behavior Survey, this is an event parents and community members won't want to miss,” says BeBOLD President, Joy Monfried. “This is an incredible opportunity to learn about how teens gain access to drugs and how we as parents can educate and prevent drug use by talking to our kids and making our homes less accessible,” she adds.
Mark your calendars for this important one hour event! BPD Cares!
