We have all dealt with stress in our daily lives.  Sometimes we deal with it well, other times, not so much.  But what about our kids?  It is undeniable that our children experience their own stress even at their young ages.  What can parents do to help them learn the tools and techniques to deal with stress in a healthy way?  Well that is the subject of this month's BeBold Speaker Series.

BeBOLD (Bedford - Building Our Lives Drug-free) is pleased to announce its January Speaker Series event to be held on Monday, January 23rd from 7-8pm at the Bedford Library in the McAllaster room.  This event is open to the public.

The hour-long event, entitled “Signs and Solutions for Bedford’s Stressed Out Kids” will include a presentation by Diane Vaccarello, owner and therapist at Bedford Family Therapy and BeBOLD committee member. Diane will discuss the causal factors that lead to stress in your kids; how to identify stress; how stress impacts your children’s lives and how to help them deal with stress.  A question and answer period guided by BeBOLD Board Member Chief John Bryfonski, Bedford Police Department, will follow.

***Here is a one hour presentation that no parent should miss.*** Come and get the tools you need to help your kids (and maybe even you) navigate stress!  Take a second and put this on your calendar before you forget.  You will be glad you did.  BPD Cares!
